Currently recognised as the top-ranked squash player from Jammu & Kashmir, Saqib Fayaz is also training budding players as a coach at Gindun Stadium, Rajbagh. He has represented J&K twice as a national-level squash player, and continues to qualify for the Khelo India Winter Games, proving his consistent performance in cold-season sports.
Saqib Fayaz has also showcased his skill in ice hockey, having worn the national jersey twice. His martial arts journey is equally impressive—he is a national bronze medalist in Sqay, a traditional martial art form.
Another highlight in Saqib Fayaz’s sporting journey is his victory as a national gold medalist in Ice Stock, a winter precision sport that demands focus and technique. Throughout various district and state-level competitions, he has secured over 150 medals, a remarkable feat for any athlete his age.
