India will continue to extend her hand of friendship to Sri Lanka in the days to come like "our ancestors in the past", India's high commissioner in Sri Lanka, Gopal Baglay, said while hosting an Iftar dinner in Colombo on Friday. It was attended by finance minister Ali Sabry who retained his position in the Cabinet three days after resigning, members of the clergy and religious scholars.
